Install roller shutter attachment boxes more quickly
NEW ADAPTER FOR WINDOW FRAMES WITH ALUMINUM ATTACHMENT
Plastic windows not only have significant price advantages. Equipped with an aluminum attachment shell, they are now trendsetters and often the first choice in sophisticated residential construction. However, the attachment shell widens and raises the shutter frame and thus makes it difficult to flush a roller shutter box. EXTE has now solved this problem with a new adapter.
Window manufacturers know the problem from daily practice. The installation of a roller shutter attachment box is technically complex if plastic windows with aluminum outer shells are to be processed. This is because these widen the window frame by approx. 5 mm and ensure an upward extension of approx. 3 mm. In order to mount an attachment box without gaps and tightly, the fitters have previously had to install a universal bracket at the front and install a flat strip on the upper panel at the back. Only then can they properly connect the attachment box to the frame.
With a new plastic adapter, the Wipperfürth-based roller shutter box specialist is now compensating for the offset caused by the aluminum sheets placed in trendy plastic-aluminum windows. At the same time, this also creates a clean contact surface for the attachment box, which can now be securely and quickly attached and snapped onto the previously clipped adapter in a single step.
The new adapter is now available for plastic windows with aluminum cladding from aluplast (systems with frame widths 70 and 85 mm), profine (76 and 88 mm), SCHÜCO (82 mm) and VEKA (82 mm).
To match the aluminum cover of the windows, there are also roller shutter guide rails and outer panels made of the same material. The result is a visually attractive overall element with perfect technical and energy properties.
