New cover caps and intake hoppers make it easier to install roller shutter rails (RLS) and easy adjustment of the end position of the roller shutter curtain on the construction site. EXTE thus completes its RLS program with additional practical advantages for assembly.
Four new mini and maxi intake hoppers and new three-piece cover caps for roller shutter rails now complete EXTE's RLS range. The intake funnels for the hanging can now be permanently attached to the guide rail from above with a screw. Additional bonding is no longer required. If necessary, it is also possible to replace a funnel quickly and without problems.
Cover caps with sturdy casserole protection
The new cover caps have sturdy casserole protection. It allows fitters on the construction site to adjust the end positions of the curtain without it running downwards from the guide groove. This is always problematic if a window sill has not yet been installed during the construction phase. At the same time, the cover caps have a 5-degree bevel at the bottom for a perfect fit to the window sill. This completely eliminates the need for an additional angled cut of the guide rails.
If, after construction is completed, there is still an incidence of light that is considered annoying due to the distance between the shutter hanging and the window sill, this can also be removed by the end customer himself in the simplest way. This is because the casserole protection can be easily removed from the cover cap with an Allen wrench. For this purpose, it has a disassembly opening in the middle, into which the Allen wrench is inserted. The cover cap is then simply pulled out to the side of the window. The curtain then sits neatly on the window sill. In addition, the dismantling opening is also used to drain the roller shutter groove.
At EXTE, product improvements are achieved through dialogue with fitters in daily practice. Often rather inconspicuous, however, it is such details that simplify work processes, increase construction quality and at the same time reduce assembly costs.
