MAXIMUM STABILITY AND EASY ASSEMBLY

With four new consoles, the Statik XT program offers a suitable solution for every wall structure. Thanks to the new design, the roller shutter box with fully integrated console can be snapped directly onto the window for the first time. This significantly simplifies assembly and saves time and money on the construction site. The new consoles are available for the Elite XT roller shutter box system.

So that the box can be placed directly on the window with the console already fully assembled, there is a newly developed latch in the lower part. When the box is placed on the special reinforcing iron, the latch automatically pushes upwards. After the base profile has been fully engaged, the bolt automatically falls back into its end position and thus creates a stable connection between the static console and special reinforcing iron. Installing static protection has not been easier so far. Thanks to a specially adapted cover, which is also already integrated into the box, there is also no need to subsequently seal the required cutout in the base profile. The new consoles will be available from July 2020 and cover four construction situations:

Revision below
The upper part of the “XT - Standard RU” static console bridges construction joints of 4 to 30 mm above the box and is pushed directly under the lintel. The screw in the camber is then screwed through the lower inspection opening. It can be used in monolithic wall structures, with composite thermal insulation systems, for timber frame buildings and clinker bricks. The installation height is between 244 and 270 mm. Wind loads are maintained up to C4.

Internal revision
The “XT - Standard RI” static console is flush with the box. The maximum installation height of the roller shutter box is only increased by 6 mm and is therefore ideal for all construction situations that only allow a low box height. The screw upwards is carried out through the inner inspection opening. The installation height is 246 mm. The wall construction options and resistance to wind load are the same as those of the revision below.

Single-leaf masonry
The “XT — Monolithic” static console is ideal for single-shell masonry. Thanks to the new design, it is no longer necessary to open the box for assembly. The screw upwards is carried out outside the box, both inside and outside. The installation height is 290 mm. Wind loads are removed up to C5.

Pre-wall installation
Composite thermal insulation systems require pre-wall installation using the new “XT — WDVS” static console. Depending on the type of inspection and position of the box, the upper mounting claw on the toothed upper part can be positioned with millimetre accuracy. Thanks to the new design, it is no longer necessary to open the box for assembly. The installation height is 290 mm and the resistance to wind load is C3/B4.
