Safe statics for lift-and-slide doors
NEW SPECIAL REINFORCEMENT FOR LIFT-AND-SLIDE DOORS AND WINDOWS
With a new special reinforcing iron, EXTE now allows roller shutter attachment boxes to be easily and securely attached to all standard lift/slide door elements.
The new 5608 special strengthening iron is bolted to the frame in the same way as the PVC adapter used so far. The shutter box is then placed from above and pushed forward until it snaps into place. This creates a stable connection between the attachment box and the lift/slide door, which statically reinforces the entire window element and connects it permanently tightly and without gaps.
Full compatibility with the static concept
The new static solution is also fully compatible with all common window systems and the multi-stage static and mounting concept, which offers a tailored solution for every application. This is because as the width of the window element increases, additional attachment to the structure is required to transfer the load. It is carried out using two-piece static consoles, which are guided through a cutout in the base profile of the box and then simply hooked into the special reinforcing iron. There is no need for laborious and time-consuming screwing while maintaining a high level of audit security.
Test certificates available
Static tests and test certificates are available for all approved dimensions, which are provided as required. Customers can also use a structural tool to have their elements and the required structural components calculated themselves in just a few steps by entering width and height. This creates planning security both for the architect and for the company to be carried out.
